Hull Cases Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Hull Cases. To ensure a smooth return process, please review our policies below. All returns—whether defective or non-defective—require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a copy of the original invoice.

1. Return Eligibility by Category

Defective Merchandise

If a product is found to be defective from the manufacturer (this does not include shipping damage), it may be returned for a replacement or refund within 30 days of purchase, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The product is returned in its original packaging.

  • Manufacturer Warranty Support: We act as your safety net. If the original manufacturer is unwilling or unable to repair or replace the item under their warranty, Hull Cases will issue a refund or replacement.

  • Note: All shipping charges are non-refundable.

Non-Defective Stock Merchandise

Regular stock items may be returned for a refund within 30 days of purchase subject to:

  • A 25% restocking fee.

  • The product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

  • Note: All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items

The following items are made-to-order, custom, or hygiene-sensitive and cannot be returned or exchanged. Please verify all specifications before ordering:

  • Custom Orders: All custom cases, modified cases (including printing), and cases with glued-in foam/material.

  • Foam Products: All standalone foam inserts and foam sets included within cases.

  • Clearance/Non-Stock: All non-stocked cases, discounted items, and flashlights.

  • Non-Stocked Items: Any products marked as “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase.

2. Shipping & Carrier Liability

Transfer of Responsibility: Once a product leaves our facility (via UPS, FedEx, Freight, or Customer Pickup), the risk of loss or damage passes to the customer. Hull Cases is not responsible for missing, lost, or damaged packages.

  • Insurance & Signatures: If you have concerns regarding delivery security, please contact us prior to shipping to purchase shipping insurance or require a signature upon delivery.

  • Shipping Claims: If a carrier loses or damages your product, we will assist you in the claims process; however, we cannot guarantee the carrier’s final decision or outcome.

  • Delivery Guarantees: Transit times and delivery dates (Overnight, 2nd Day, etc.) are guarantees made by the carrier, not Hull Cases. While we guarantee on-time dispatch from our facility, we are not liable for carrier delays.

  • Returned to Sender: If a package is returned to Hull Cases after failed delivery attempts, the customer is responsible for all associated shipping costs to resend the item. If the customer chooses to refund the order instead, a 25% restocking fee will apply.

3. Fitment & Recommendations

While our team strives to provide excellent product recommendations, the final due diligence and purchasing decision lies with the customer.

  • Hull Cases cannot be held liable for incorrectly fitting or undesirable products based on general recommendations.

  • Guaranteed Fit: We only guarantee a proper fit if the customer sends the physical parts to our facility to be custom-fitted into a custom foam insert.

4. Manufacturer Direct Guarantees

Certain manufacturers offer their own money-back guarantees. Please refer to the documentation included with your merchandise. In these instances, you may be able to facilitate a return or exchange directly through the manufacturer.

  • 30-Day Window: Defective or stock items must be returned within 30 days of purchase in original packaging.

  • Final Sale Items: Custom cases, foam inserts (including those inside cases), modified/printed items, and flashlights are non-returnable.

  • Restocking Fees: Non-defective stock returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

  • Shipping: All shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Once an order leaves our facility, the carrier is responsible for loss or damage.

  • Fitment: While we provide recommendations, final fitment responsibility lies with the customer. We only guarantee a perfect fit if you send us your physical parts for custom foam fabrication.
